DNS zone import and export

You can now import and export DNS records as standard BIND zone files, straight from a domain's DNS records page.

Export

Select Export zone file to download all of a domain's records as example.com.txt, in the same format Cloudflare and most DNS providers use — handy for backups or moving records elsewhere.

Import

Select Import records to add records in bulk from a zone file. Drop a file onto the dialog and Velumi parses it and shows a preview of what will be added before anything changes.

• Importing adds records — your existing records are never overwritten.
• Up to 200 records per import.
• The preview flags lines that couldn't be parsed and records skipped because Velumi manages them.

Importing requires Owner or Admin role.
